The NAVIGO Fisheries Museum is all about the fishermen from our region and their rich, fascinating past. Miraculous catches during the Second World War, 12-year-old boys risking their lives as Icelandic sailors, the sometimes hard and lonely life of fisherwomen, but also about beachcombing and the challenges of fishing today. There is, obviously, also sperm whale Valentijn, NAVIGO's new eye-catcher.

The museum is closed during the month of January. On Saturday February 1st, the museum doors will open again!
